Each year, The Bridge quietly curates one of the most visually striking gatherings of cars and characters on Long Island. But in 2021, something rare happened — the light hit just right, the layout felt cinematic, and the whole thing unfolded like a dream you’d half-remember. The cars felt like props on a set that didn’t quite exist, parked in perfect stillness, as if waiting for a scene to begin. I wanted to shoot them not just as objects, but as symbols — of excess, nostalgia, and the curated beauty of performance.

Smoke Room Reverie
Matsuhisa Paris, 2022
Some places exist between the hours—half fantasy, half fallout. The smoke room at Matsuhisa wasn’t trying to be found, and maybe that’s why it felt like it mattered.
Bathed in lacquered red and velvet air, this was a pocket of the night where things slipped—faces blurred, time bent, and rules didn’t apply. The camera wasn’t invited, but it came anyway.
